“Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” from 2 Timothy 2:15

Awana is held every Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8:00p.m. during the school year and is for children ages 3 years old thru 5th grade.  This is a time for children to come and play games, memorize scripture and learn more about God’s Word.

This coming Wednesday night, November 18th, is Good Samaritan Night at Awana.  Be sure to bring can food for the Kaufman Christian Help Center and you will earn an extra Awana buck.  Remember that inviting a friend will earn you $5 in Awana bucks.

In our effort to provide the highest quality Christian education, we are using FaithWeaver Bible Curriculum on Sunday mornings during our Sunday School hour.  FaithWeaver makes Bible learning fun and uses a variety of active experiences to help students learn in ways they learn best.  FaithWeaver also helps people of all ages “weave faith into life” by applying the Bible to their lives throughout every week.  And with FaithWeaver, students walk through the Bible over the course of three years.

We would love to have your child join during the Sunday School hour each Sunday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Kid’s Kingdom!

Kid’s Kingdom is our Children’s Church ministry for children 3 years of age thru 5th grade held during the worship hour.  All children begin in the church service so that families can worship together and then they are dismissed to go to Kid’s Kingdom.  There , we continue to worship and re-enforce the Sunday School lesson through FaithWeaver’s Kid’s Own Worship series using multi-media to enhance their worship time and draw them closer to God.
